Hand-painting is making a comeback
I'm a sucker for anything hand painted. I love the texture it adds, the little brush strokes that show what a pair of hands has done. The tiny mistakes, turn into secret little differences between each piece.
I love using the technique myself, and there's so many others doing the same- and the results are always incredible. Here's a little list of my fave makers, hand painting beautiful items in beautiful ways;

Laura Nevill - creates beautiful hand painted plates and mirrors with words to inspire.

Move over magnolia studio - incredible upcycled vintage tablewares, in bold patterns and colours to brighten up the everyday.

Bax and Gore - lamps and shades to literally die for in bright, bold, colour-blocking goodness.

Orna - the most intricate, beautiful hand painted candles to decorate every surface.

Vaisselle boutique - hand painted ginghams on handmade Spanish ceramics, in perfect spring colours.

Harlie Briggs - beautiful colour palettes with abstract brush strokes, to hold all your special trinkets.

Manom Jewellery - incredibly detailed, tiny wearable art. Every piece is like a piece of treasure.

The Willow is my take on hand painting, wearable art. Made from the highest quality silk organza, each panel is carefully hand painted by me before being sewn together into a beautiful blouse.
